Sorrow

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV

What is godly sorrow?

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death - NIV

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation.

I dont know if this relates you what you were going to say in this post. But sorrow resembles, to me, sadness and miserable and disappointments.

Here is a story about misery..

The Hares and the Frogs

The Hares, driven desperate by the perpetual alarm that their many enemies caused them, determined to end to themselves and their troubles by jumping into a deep lake. As they scampered off in unison to carry out their plan, the Frogs lying on the banks of the lake heard the noise of their feet and rushed helter skelter to the deep water for safety. On seeing the rapid disappearance of the Frogs, one of the Hares cried out to his companions, “Our case is not so desperate yet; here are other creatures more fainthearted than ourselves.”

This story tells us whatever your misery, there are some whose lot is worse than your own.

Do trust and believe that our God will give you the best for you.

I think this post has been misunderstood.

Worldly sorrow is quite meaningless. Being sorry for worldly things gains you nothing. You only waste a lot of brain cells, hurt your body and mind, and in the end you achieve nothing. Sorrow for worldly things only brings you closer to death, both spiritual and physical.

But Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation!

Learn to feel sorrow for the right things.

But do you understand the meaning behind the story i posted there..

Stop being sorrow, for which God is hope, joy and love.
