Saturday;
one of the car doors couldn't open
i forgot to bring goggles to swimming
lost a piece of skin while trying to stuff rubbish in bin
first to become bankrupt in a game of monopoly of 5 players

a guy goes into the casino with $100 and comes out with nothing. another one goes in with $100 and wins $1000. ceteris paribus, WHY. is there absolutely no reason?

there isn't such a thing as luck and neither is there such a thing as bad luck
do good and bad things happen at random?

I am inclined to think however, that everything single thing that happens, happens for a very good reason.

Are you in trouble if you have bad parents?

Below are passages from proverbs

ch1
8 Listen, my son, to your father's instruction
and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
9 They will be a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.

1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding.

ch5
20 My son, keep your father's commands
and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
21 Bind them upon your heart forever;
fasten them around your neck.

1 A wise son heeds his father's instruction,
but a mocker does not listen to rebuke.

I think that we should listen to our parents. God will be pleased if we do.
Bad parents? You think that if we decide to obey our parents then God will MAKE our parents say wise things to us?

There is a large body of people out there that do not believe in Evolution.

I was taught evolution at high school and I knew it as fact.

There is a claim that there is no evidence for evolution. Is this true? Natural selection cannot yield new species?
